We have been going to Spring Star for as long as I can remember, and they have never changed the superb quality and consistency of the food. I have recently begun a personal mission of mine to sample every item on the menu and have not been disappointed yet, in fact I have thoroughly enjoyed every moment if it. Quite possibly the best Chinese takeaway in town by a mile. Highly recommend

Excellent traditional Chinese Food ! I have been going to the Spring Star for over 40 years now & tried most of the menu in that time. The food has always been exceptional & has remained the same for over a few decades now so if you prefer traditional style chinese food from back in the day I highly recommend this. It has always been fabulous value too (the best infact!) & has very kind,welcoming & freindly owners there also. It's just such a shame they dont deliver as that would be the icing on the cake. Finally,if you have not tried it already, you must try No.92 (House Special Fried Rice). I have it quite often & it is pure pleasure on a plate (or straight out of the dish of course lol) & it's very satisfying too! 5 stars all the way is a no brainer for me as Spring Star is simply superb. Enjoy ! 👌
